Matthew Taylor, Managing Director of DA Languages, has been named as one of The LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders for 2021.
The programme, which is supported by The Times and now in its fourth year, celebrates the inspiring leaders behind some of the UK’s most successful and fast-growing medium-sized firms.
The featured Top 50 hail from every corner of the country and operate across a diverse range of sectors. Collectively, they employ more than 9,500 people and contribute more than £1.2bn to the UK economy.
Managing Director Matthew Taylor commented: “I’m delighted to have been recognised by the LDC. The language industry offers a wealth of opportunity for innovation. I’m incredibly proud not only of the work DA Languages does, helping people communicate in challenging situations, but also of the digital advancements we’ve driven to enable this work in an intelligent way.”
DA Languages has grown exponentially over the last 18 months. Earlier this year, DA Languages was awarded the contract with eight NHS bodies under the NHS North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative. The three-year deal with the NHS is worth more than £1m a year and is one of the largest NHS language service contracts awarded in England.
